Oh and I wanna remember this night and how my words never came out right. It's just my patience that keeps me alive, just like all those pretty lights, just like all the pretty lights in the sky.

James and Lily again! This is a redraw of a picture I drew of them in 2011 of them on their first date that was inspired by Andrew Belle's song All Those Pretty Lights, which is absolutely beautiful and one of my favourite songs. The orangey circles above them are meant to be lights that James has charmed to float around them but I'm not sure how obvious it is what they are! Oh and I know James is meant to be a Chaser not a Seeker but I drew a snitch in Lily's hair instead of a quaffle because I thought it would be more obvious what it was meant to be.

At the time I was fairly happy with how it had turned out...apart from his left arm which I'd tried to draw rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly and despite many attempts I never managed to make it look right and every time I looked at the picture it upset me how bad it looked! So I've been meaning to redraw it for ages and I finally got around to it and I'm SO much happier with this version! I'm posting a redraw meme of the two of them in a second so the comparison will be more obvious.
